How to schedule your social media marketing content for a month!

Whoo! Well done! You have made it to the end of my series on batching your social media content for a month!

So far in our social media marketing batching series we've been through:

Now our last job to bring everything together is to schedule the content we've created. Scheduling means we won’t forget to post at the right time (or at all!) and let all our hard work go to waste! It also means we are able to post consistently and keep our audience engaged.



Step #1: Know where you content and captions are


To make life easy, make sure you have placed your content in an easy to get to folder and open up your captions document.



Step #2: Go to FB Creator studio


You can schedule your content through a number of different platforms but I have found Facebook’s offering super easy to use. It is called Creator Studio, to go to it, click here (http://www.facebook.com/creatorstudio). You are also able to get the app on your phone.


You will be able to choose if you want to create a FB post or an Instagram post via the buttons up the top of the page.



Step #3: Create click new and upload your image


To start your post, click on the large green button in the top left hand corner and click on ‘create new’. This will open a new pop up box to start building your post.


Click ‘add photo’ and find the image you want to use for this post.



Step #4: Go to your document and copy the correct caption


Your next step is to go to your document and copy the correct caption for this post - make sure you don’t get the wrong one as you’ll have many in your document!


Also, make sure you add in your hashtags if you are posting onto Instagram!



Step #5: Schedule your content


Lastly we need to schedule your content! You can find this next to the ‘publish’ button. By clicking this it will open up a calendar and a time so you can choose what date you want your post to be released on and at what time. You might find you need to trial times for the first few months you batch your content and then you should be able to use the stats this will offer to work out what the best time is for you to post.


Repeat this step for all of the content you have.



And ta-dah! You have batched and scheduled your month of content!
