I’m Maddi, the photographer and filmmaker behind Chlo & Co Creatives. Based in Townsville, I document weddings across North Queensland including Cairns, Mackay and the surrounding coastal and hinterland regions. I create natural, light-filled imagery and cinematic wedding films designed to feel timeless, elegant and true to you.

My work is for couples who value beautiful photography but don’t want their wedding day to revolve around it. Couples who prefer genuine moments over staged ones. Couples who want to be present. Much of the day is captured candidly as it unfolds — the quiet glances, the memories, the feelings. When gentle direction is needed, I step in with calm guidance, ensuring you feel comfortable while still achieving beautiful, timeless images.

As a Townsville wedding photographer, I regularly travel to photograph weddings in Cairns, Mackay, Charters Towers, Ingham, Cardwell, Tully, Mission Beach, the Atherton Tablelands, Ayr, Bowen and Airlie Beach including the Whitsundays. I also offer photography and film coverage for destination weddings and elopements throughout Far North Queensland and beyond. I love a good adventure!

I offer a range of wedding photography packages including half-day wedding photography packages, full-day wedding photography packages, budget wedding photography packages, wedding film packages and combined photography and film coverage too.Custom packages are always available for celebrations that require something tailored.

With over ten years of experience, I understand how to balance artistry with efficiency. I also know that you spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day so I make sure that I am there to not just help capture the moment, but provide support as needed including prep direction (like doing up ties or dresses) and reception instructions (such as cutting the cake). I am also here to ask any wedding questions you need help with before your day! Most importantly however, I ensure your photography feels seamless within the flow of your day.​
