Art workshops in Albury Wodonga

Looking to rekindle your creativity, learn a new skill or just wanting a fun way to enjoy the day? Chlo and Co Creatives offers art workshops in the Albury Wodonga area, specialising in unique 'wine and watercolour' events at local wine cellars and venues.

My art workshops include watercolour sessions, lino printing classes and abstract high flow acrylics. I might even be adding in some 3D art classes soon so watch this space!

GROUP WORKSHOPS

Our workshop numbers are kept small to allow you to truly learn and polish your art making skills in the class. The smaller numbers let me work one on one with you during the session.

Workshops are generally 2 and a half hours long which gives you time to master the skills and create one or more artworks. All supplies, mediums and materials are included in these workshops along with nibbles and drinks.

Art workshops can be a great celebration idea too! You can book your own group art workshop around the Albury Wodonga area and get your friends together for a fun, creative party!  This is great for hen’s parties, unique birthday parties and even baby showers!

Have you ever wanted to know how these mesmerising artworks are made or make one yourself? This vivid medium mimics the textures of resin art however is far easier to create as it doesn't require any extra tools to set.

In this class, you will learn the basics of colour mixing to help you with your colour selection. You will then have the opportunity to create a series of small round artworks that can become coasters if you would like. This will help you understand how the medium works and what colours you like to place together. You will then have the opportunity to create one large canvas artwork (picture above).

Please make sure you wear old clothes to this workshop as this medium will not come off if you accidentally get it on your clothes!

High-flow Acrylic Workshop

Chlo & Co's signature art class, the wine & watercolour is back! Come enjoy a fun night of learning, painting and wine tasting on Friday evening.

This class will be focused on florals and foliage where you will learn the basic techniques of water colour, colour theory and mixing and then how to create shapes. You will get to apply these techniques on different paper, to book marks and cards.

Along with our painting, you will have a selection of local wine to try to help you get your creative on! There will also be some yummy nibbles that will accompany the tastings.

If you are not interested in the wine part of the night but still want to join in on the watercolour please contact me!

Wine & Watercolour Workshop
Lino Print Workshop

When: 10:30am to 12:30pm, Saturday 13th of March

Duration: 2 hour class (approximately)

Where: The Beehive Society, Albury CBD

Ticket Price: $70

Lino printing is one of my favourite art methods! It is so unique and fun to be able to create art that you can print multiple times and apply to many different materials.

In this workshop you will be introduced to lino printing and how to cut the medium. You will be taught about the tools and be able to have a go at cutting out a pre-draw design. From here you will be able to create your own stamp or make one from a number of designs that will be available.

You will then learn how to apply these stamps onto a number of materials including cards so that you can learn how to get the pressure right, before creating a design on a hand-made reusable material bag.
